Two charming buildings that used to house the lock keepers families are today rented out to tourists. Built in 1892 in Swiss style in a unique and idyllic area. 12-15 beds, 150m2, well equipped both inside and outside. Private quai for both houses.
The house is situated on a hill overlooking the locks. Parking on the opposite side of the locks and one has to cross the lock gate to get to the house. The house has running water, kitchen, diningroom, sittingroom, 5 bedrooms and shower. Toilet in the barn (not WC).
Vrangfoss is situated in idyllic surroundings 200 m from Vrangfoss lock. Accessible by car. Peaceful surroundings with spacious grounds and a beautiful view over the canal. WC/shower, kitchen, sittingroom, diningroom and 5 bedrooms.
Rental of canoes, kayaks and bicycles can be arranged.
Thursday to Sunday or Sunday to Thursday: NOK 6 000. For reservations earlier than 1 November 2012: NOK 4 500.
1 week from Sunday to Sunday: NOK 12 000. For reservations earlier than 1 November 2012: NOK 9 500.
