Great season
Through Eidsfoss lock
In spite of a bad season with regards to the weather, the Telemark canal has had a small increase in visiting boats. The statistics show that 740 leisure boats were locked through Skien lock, against 717 in 2008.
Through Ulefoss lock, 203 leisure boats were locked through (220 in 2008). The number of kajaks/canoes is the same as last year, and for the scheduled ferries, it has been a good season with many people and several positive feedbacks.
